Business Controller

Investigo are partnered with a SaaS business operating in the pharmaceutical sector who are currently looking to hire a business controller.

The role

• Reporting monthly financial results and analyzing variances against budget, forecasts, and historical trends.
• Responsibility for annual budgets, long-term plans, and the periodic follow-up of the assigned departments.
• Measuring and analyzing the performance of various functions and departments, providing guidance through key performance indicators.
• Supporting and representing finance in projects:
• Improving and automating reporting processes
• Conducting financial analyses and controls in the context of acquisitions, divestments, and operational investment projects.
• Providing financial support to the CEO, CFO, and other departments in their operational activities and projects.
• Preparing in-depth analyses of specific activities and/or departments.

What we are looking for

• You hold a Master’s degree in Finance/Economics/Business Engineering, … An MBA or additional qualification is a plus. In addition to your degree, we are aiming for 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (audit, transaction services, financial planning…).
• You are proactive, goal-oriented, efficient, and not afraid of tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex financials for non-finance stakeholders
• Team player who enjoys collaborating across functions and contributing to continuous improvement
• Experience in a growing SaaS environment is a strong plus.
• Your personality is marked by a curious and analytical mindset, yet you are also pragmatic and business-minded with a hands-on attitude.
• High proficiency with ERP, and Office solutions.
• You’re comfortable with speaking English. Dutch & French are a plus
